The band The Who was formed in 1964 in England by Roger
Daltrey (singer), Pete Townshend (vocals,guitar,keyboard), John Entwistle
(vocals, bass) and Keith Moon (drums, vocals). They became known for their
energetic and thrilling live performances. The Who have sold about 100 million
records and charted twenty-seven top forty singles in the UK and The United
States. As well as seventeen top ten albums, eighteen gold, twelve platinum and
five multi-platinum album awards in The United States.
