History
The Bee Gees musical career started after that of the Beatles, reaching international success in 1967. By the height of their popularity the Bee Gees were among the most known performers, outsold only by the other wonders of the British Invasion such as the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
The Bee Gees would go on to have lasting impact on pop music in America, and lead to other developments in culture, such as disco in the 1970's.
